League Information The Eureka Youth Soccer Club (EYSC) is a volunteer organization that serves the community of Eureka, California. Over 880 boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 19 years old participate annually on recreational and competitive teams. The EYSC is a division of Humboldt Youth Soccer League (HYSL) and is affiliated with the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) District V for Northern California. The EYSC teams consist of the following levels: Both the Recreational Level (Division 4) and Developmental Level (Division 3) offer kids the opportunity to participate in an organized athletic sport. Along with exercise- learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and competing are the added benefits that EYSC has to offer for your child. Developmental Level (Division 3) provides the opportunity for advanced athletes to play at a higher level of competition. Division 3 begins at the U-10 age level for boys and girls. Players must try-out in order to be selected for a team. Practices begin in June and are a necessary part of team development. At the U-12 age level, team may compete in tournaments and are required to travel out of Eureka for league games.
