Both the Recreational Level (Division 4) and Developmental Level (Division 3) offer kids the opportunity to participate in an organized athletic sport. Along with exercise- learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and competing are the added benefits that EYSC has to offer for your child.

Developmental Level (Division 3) provides the opportunity for advanced athletes to play at a higher level of competition. Division 3 begins at the U-10 age level for boys and girls. Players must try-out in order to be selected for a team. Practices begin in June and are a necessary part of team development. At the U-12 age level, team may compete in tournaments and are required to travel out of Eureka for league games.

Volunteers
It cannot be stressed enough the need for volunteers to help with all aspects of running the organization. Unlike other larger, more metropolitan areas, EYSC does not charge a volunteer deposit or require parents to volunteer positions before allowing children to play. Besides coaching and refereeing, duties such as field maintenance and snack bar operation are vital to the efficiency of Saturday morning games at Redwood Fields. Parents of all players are strongly encouraged to offer their assistance. Please contact a Board Member to find out what you can do to help.
